SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY

TURMO TRAVEL S.r.l.
  considers it of primary importance to develop, within its organization, a working environment based on the principles of ethics and social responsibility; the company also aims to pursue the satisfaction and professional growth of all employees, in compliance with national and international laws.

TURMO TRAVEL s.r.l.   also considers it necessary to contact, in the context of the performance of its activities, suppliers of products and services that demonstrate that they follow the principles of social responsibility.

TURMO TRAVEL s.r.l.   has implemented in its organization a standard, known as SA8000 (Social Accountability), containing the principles that must be respected by companies that propose to implement social responsibility policies.  The SA8000 organizational system is accredited by SAAS (Post: SAAS, 15 West 44th Street, 6th floor - New York Email: saas@saasaccreditation.org Tel / Fax: +212-684-1515) and is certified by GCERTI ITALY

To achieve these objectives, it is necessary that both the internal organization of the company and the complex of suppliers of products and services ensure compliance with the requirements listed below:

PROHIBITION OF CHILD LABOUR

  •   The use of child and child labor is not allowed

PROHIBITION OF FORCED AND COMPULSORY LABOUR

  •   Forced or forced labor is not permitted.
  •   It is not allowed to employ personnel against their will and to resort to any form of work under the threat of punishment.

HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTECTION

  •   The right to safety and health at work must be guaranteed.
  •   TURMO TRAVEL s.r.l.   guarantees the use of a safe and healthy working environment, it carries out a careful risk assessment and management and applies an appropriate training program.
  •   TURMO TRAVEL s.r.l.   has appointed the Health and Safety Representatives.

PROTECTION OF FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION AND THE RIGHT TO ORGANISATION AND COLLECTIVE BARGAINING

  •   Respect for the right to freedom of trade unions and collective bargaining must be ensured

ABSENCE OF ANY DISCRIMINATION

  •   The right to equal pay for equal work must be guaranteed. The right to equal opportunities must also be respected during recruitment or dismissal and in the case of promotion and training.
  •   Any form of discrimination, including exclusion or preference based on race, sex, age, religion, political opinion, nationality or social class, shall not be permitted.
  •   You may not take disciplinary action, dismiss, or otherwise discriminate against any employee who provides information regarding compliance with the SA 8000 standard.

COMPLIANCE WITH WORKING TIME RULES AND GUARANTEED PAY

  •   It must be guaranteed that the salary provided for by the legislation in force is recognized, ensuring that it is sufficient to guarantee a dignified life for the worker.
  •   The right to a decent wage and proper working hours must be guaranteed.
  •   Working hours must not exceed those laid down in employment contracts and agreements with trade unions.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

TURMO TRAVEL S.r.l.  is committed to:

  •   Constantly update this "Social Responsibility Policy" and apply all the requirements of the SA 8000 standard, as well as all national and international regulations, other applicable laws and other underwritten requirements;
  •   Clearly and documented definition of the roles, responsibilities and authorities of its staff;
  •   Carry out periodic Internal Audits in order to verify the effectiveness of the system and make corrective or preventive actions, if necessary, with a view to continuous improvement;
  •   Monitoring and documenting performance in respect of all requirements of the standard, through appropriate records and reporting of results both within and to other relevant social partners, by drawing up an HS Financial Statements 8000;
  •   Ensure that all personnel receive adequate training on the requirements of the standard;
  •   Select and evaluate suppliers based on their ability to meet the requirements of the HS 8000 standard;
  •   Plan and implement appropriate corrective actions following the identification of non-compliance.

DISSEMINATION OF POLICY

Those policies are shown to all TURMO TRAVEL S.r.l. Staff, illustrated in the course of training and disseminated during meetings between the General management and the process managers; this in order to ensure that it this policy is understood, implemented and supported at all levels of the company and by all employees of TURMO TRAVEL S.r.l..
