COOKIES

Cookies are text files that sites visited by users send to their devices and are transmitted to the sites themselves at the next visit. They are used to improve navigation, save user preferences already entered (such as username and password), track the tastes and preferences of the user allowing to manage the presence or absence of targeted marketing initiatives or the provision of services related to the activity of the Owner.

If limitations are placed on their use this will certainly affect the user's status during consultation. Blocking or removing them from the browser cache could cause an incomplete fruition of the services offered by the web application.

Cookies can be divided into three macro-categories: "profiling cookies", "technical cookies" and "third party cookies".

Profiling cookies

The site does not use profiling cookies, i.e. cookies aimed at creating profiles on the user in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed during navigation on the site.

No use is made of cookies while browsing the site to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind used, i.e. systems for tracing the behavior of users.

These, therefore, will not be the subject of this informative report.

Technical and session cookies

The site uses technical cookies to allow safe, fast and efficient exploration of the site itself and to provide users with the requested services.

Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication on an electronic communication network or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service".

Among the cookies of this category are considered included persistent cookies and session cookies.

Session cookies are temporary cookies, whose operation on the machine is limited to the duration of the user's session. When the browser is closed, session cookies expire. These are generally used to identify users when they access a site, to remember the user's preferences when passing between site pages, to provide specific information previously collected.

Persistent cookies, on the other hand, help sites remember user data and settings for later reference. This allows for faster and more time-efficient access since there is no need to log in again. Persistent cookies remain active even after the browser is closed.

Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies are cookies set by a site other than the one the user is browsing. They are used, for example, by the site that the visitor first chose and that contains ads from another server or third party website.

All these cookies can be removed directly from the browser settings or through special programs, even free, or you can block their creation. In the latter case some of the site's services may not work as expected and it may not be possible to access or even have the associated cookie lose the user's preferences, in this way the information would be displayed in the wrong local form or may not be available.

The Companies mentioned above guarantee their adherence to the Privacy Shield.

Regarding the company Google, it has been made known that, as of January 22, 2019, its ratings for the European Union are carried out in Ireland by one of their companies nominated as data controller and, therefore, with the full validity of the provisions of the GDPR.

The treatment carried out with cookies is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller. However, it is always possible to disable cookies on one's own device, by acting on the settings of the program used by the user to surf the Internet. Disabling cookies does not prevent the navigation of the site but may affect the operation of third-party services used within the same.
